Emerging Tech and Innovation Speaker Series – The Fintech Corridor

The Irish Funds Emerging Tech & Innovation Speaker Series is back on the road! The latest instalment which focused on The Fintech Corridor and the support it provides to our fintech community, took place on October 16 in the Southern Regional College in Newry.

The event brought together a number of industry members and academic professionals who focused on how we drive innovation, and the scaling and growth of FinTech companies across the island of Ireland.  This included an insightful keynote presentation by First Derivative on bridging the skills gap and the value of fostering a culture of life-long learning across our industry.

The presentation was followed by an interesting panel discussion on how we can continue to promote tech, innovation, learning, diversity and inclusion across our financial and technology sectors and how we can build more sustainable models by forging valuable partnerships with industry and universities in our local communities. 

Speakers included representatives from The Fintech Corridor,  Paypal, First Derivative, Valid8Me,  Dublin City University and Southern Regional College.
